Margaret Young

Throughout my artistic journey, I’ve explored various mediums but my true passion lies in the vibrant reflective patterns of stained glass.  Having been professionally trained in cutting glass for lead light and copper foiling, I’ve now applied this technique to mosaic artworks.

 

I’ve been honoured to reproduce and exhibit my interpretations of famous artists’ creations at numerous TAM exhibitions.  These include Picasso, Van Gogh, Vermeer and I even recreated a trilogy of my favourite Klimt’s Golden Age works.

 

My other inspirations come from flora and fauna and everyday objects.

 

Since TAM’s inception in 2005, I’ve been a dedicated member of this supportive group of like-minded artists for over two decades.
